This is actually my heart rate. I have heart problems and my ex girlfriend/my best friend introduced me to this song, Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. What she doesn’t realize is that she saved my life. Thank you, M.A.B!
Behind Blue Eyes is my favorite song by The Who. This song got me through my angsty adolescent years, and then some. I love it!

The song Smile by Eyedea and Abilities is one that I think every person should hear. The message in it is incredible and this song has helped me get through some of the hardest parts of my life, from when one of my close friends died to when I was bullied in school.
The chorus goes:
“I can only build if I tear the walls down,
even if it breaks me I won’t let it make me frown.
I’m falling but no matter how hard I hit the ground
I’ll still smile.”
I’m a Smiths fan, so much so that “There’s a Light” was the first dance song at our wedding. I’m also a bit of an anglophile. So, a Double Decker bus? It just seemed perfect.
I’m obsessed with Brand New and finally get to carry them with me forever. Seven years ago in February, I lost my grandparents, and Brand New was always the band that helped me through the horrible times. I wanted to get this done in February so that the month I hate could have a special moment. I dedicate this to them. I love you Grandma and Peepaw and not a day goes by that I don’t miss you.
My latest tattoo. I’ve been quite a big Misfits fan for a few years now, but the idea to get the tattoo was a bit spur of the moment, whilst in the studio with a friend who was getting some work done I just decided to book myself in for the following week. I absolutely love it, especially as my tattoo artist is a close friend who is also a big Misfits fan.
